Vinh Hau improves the quality of public administrative services

Since its establishment on July 1, 2025, the Public Administration Service Center (PVPHC) of Vinh Hau commune has been operating smoothly and effectively, creating convenience for people and businesses to carry out administrative procedures (APs).

Deputy Director of the Public Service Center of Vinh Hau Commune, Huynh Thi Ngoc Giau, said that the center always receives attention and close direction from the Standing Party Committee and the People's Committee of the commune. The center is located at the headquarters of the People's Committee of the commune, with facilities to ensure serving citizens and handling administrative procedures according to the "one-stop" and "one-stop" mechanisms.

During the operation, officers and civil servants at the Vinh Hau Commune Public Service Center actively guided and supported people to perform online public services such as: Submitting online applications in full or in part; receiving and processing applications via electronic one-stop software, electronic authentication system, civil status management information system, searching the national population database... contributing to promoting digital transformation at the grassroots level.

At the same time, the center encourages people to submit applications online, make cashless payments and receive results via public postal services. The QR code system is deployed to help people easily look up announced administrative procedures, contributing to ensuring timely, legal, public, transparent handling of administrative procedures and effective coordination between departments.

From July 1 to September 16, 2025, the Public Service Center of Vinh Hau commune received 2,577 applications, including 2,098 online applications (accounting for 81.4%) and 479 direct applications (accounting for 18.6%). The online payment rate reached 96%, and over 98% of applications were processed on time. Online application submission is becoming more and more popular, helping to shorten processing time, reduce costs, reduce hassles, and improve the satisfaction level of people and businesses.

Coming to carry out administrative procedures at the Public Service Center of Vinh Hau commune, Ms. Trinh Thi Thuy Kieu, residing in Vinh Ngu hamlet, shared: "I came to make a birth certificate for my child and was enthusiastically guided by the staff, the procedures were resolved quickly". Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang (67 years old), residing in Phuoc Tho hamlet, said: "I went to make a copy of the birth certificate for my grandson. The staff at the center took me to the priority counter and supported me enthusiastically. I only had to wait a moment and it was done, I was very happy".

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nga - civil servant in charge of civil status in the commune said: "On average, about 60 people come to resolve civil status procedures every day, of which about 50 files are eligible. I try to complete them within the day. For files that are not eligible, I guide people to complete them so that they can be processed in time according to regulations."

From the achieved results, Ms. Huynh Thi Ngoc Giau affirmed: "With the motto of publicity, transparency, efficiency, and serving the people, in the coming time, the Public Service Center of Vinh Hau commune will continue to innovate and improve the process of handling administrative procedures, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and creating a more favorable environment for people and businesses".

Along with that, the center will strengthen the control, review and publicization of administrative procedures; enhance the application of information technology, upgrade digital infrastructure. The center will effectively exploit the existing information system to build e-government; promote propaganda to raise public awareness of the "one-stop" and "one-stop" mechanisms; support people to access and use online public services more easily and conveniently.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Hau Commune, Tran Thanh Son, said: "Currently, the Commune Public Service Center has ensured the necessary personnel and equipment. In the coming time, the Commune Department of Culture and Society will coordinate with the center to develop a plan to perfect and replicate the community digital technology team model to support people in performing administrative procedures."
