Dai Phuoc and Nhon Trach communes successfully organized the 1st Women's Congress, term 2025

The Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Dai Phuoc commune was introduced at the Congress

During the past term, the Women's Union of Dai Phuoc commune has had many creative ways, closely following the local political tasks, striving to achieve and exceed 11/11 targets set out in the Resolution. Notably, the Union has developed 785 new members, bringing the total number of members to more than 13,400 people, operating in 15 branches. The Union focuses on supporting women in economic development and sustainable poverty reduction; through savings and loan groups, it has helped more than 800 women's households borrow over 36 billion VND from the Social Policy Bank. In addition, the Union mobilized and donated over 1.8 billion VND to build and repair 17 charity homes, visit and give gifts to women and children in difficult circumstances and policy families; connect businesses and units to sponsor 8 orphans due to the Covid-19 epidemic and directly sponsor 4 children in special circumstances. The work of gathering members continues to receive attention through practical models such as: "Women's Club participating in environmental protection", "Women's Club of small traders", "Catholic Women's Group", "Charity Women's Group"... Thereby, the Association has helped 16 women's households escape poverty and near poverty, supported 12 women to start businesses, successfully start businesses and create jobs on the spot for more than 1,100 female workers.

In Nhon Trach commune, the Women's Union has also actively innovated the content and methods of operation, consulted, created resources, organized and implemented the women's movement, and the Union's tasks in a comprehensive manner. The Union has completed and exceeded 12/12 targets set out in the Resolution. Specifically, the Association continues to maintain and replicate models such as "Raising piggy banks to save money" , “Kitchen of Love”, “Rice Jar of Love”… The “Godmother” program was effectively implemented by the association at all levels, helping 9 orphans affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and in especially difficult circumstances, with a total support amount of 42 million VND. The association also awarded 22 health insurance cards, 874 gifts, 14,400 meals, 60 scholarships, and many meaningful models such as “Rice Jar of Love”, “Kitchen of Love”, “Closet of Love”… with a total value of over 210 million VND; mobilized the construction and repair of 02 Charity Homes worth nearly 170 million VND.
At the Congress , the localities approved the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union on appointing the Executive Committee (EC) of the Commune Women's Union, term I. For Dai Phuoc commune, the EC was appointed with 29 comrades, of which the Executive Committee had 7 comrades, and 4 delegates were sent to attend the Congress at a higher level. Nhon Trach commune appointed an EC of 27 comrades , the Executive Committee had 7 comrades , and sent 5 delegates to attend the Congress at a higher level.
On this occasion, Dai Phuoc commune had 02 individuals awarded the "For the Development of Vietnamese Women" Medal by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, recognizing their positive contributions to the women's movement and the Union's work in the past time.
