In Ea Nuol commune, the house under construction has brought more joy to war invalid Ma Duc Thang (born in 1955, in village 10). He participated in the resistance war against the US and suffered a 26% disability. Old age and many strokes have seriously reduced his health, but due to difficult family circumstances, he and his wife still have to live with their children and grandchildren in an old wooden house.

Representatives of units and localities handed over houses to people under the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Ia R've commune.

Understanding the situation, the Provincial Military Command supported 80 million VND to build the House of Love. The Commune Military Command mobilized forces to help the family clear the site, dig the foundation, and do construction work to save maximum construction costs. Mrs. Le Thi Phuong - Mr. Thang's wife was busy taking care of logistics for the workers, while Mr. Thang looked forward to the completion of the house every day. Their faces lit up with joy as they were about to live in their new house.

Similarly, joy also came to the families of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lieu (born in 1932, a war invalid, in Hoa Son commune); Mrs. Nguyen Thi Toi (born in 1946, wife of a martyr, in Krong Nang commune), Mr. Y Wuu Hwing (born in 1969, a meritorious person, in Quang Phu commune)... According to information from the Provincial Military Command, in addition to building 10 Gratitude houses, the Provincial Armed Forces also coordinated to build 16 Great Unity houses and Comrade houses for disadvantaged households in the area.

"Each House of Gratitude and Great Solidarity built is the crystallization of affection and responsibility, the result of the joint efforts and contributions from the government, departments, branches, organizations, armed forces and the people. This is also a concrete and practical action in implementing the policy of "leaving no one behind", contributing to strengthening the people's trust, tightening the great national unity bloc, building an increasingly rich and beautiful homeland" - Comrade Tran Huu The, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses is an important political task and demonstrates the profound humanistic values and special concern of the Party and State for the people, especially housing for those who have contributed to the revolution, relatives of martyrs, poor and near-poor households. The province has implemented rapid construction, completing the houses on schedule, in accordance with regulations, even finishing earlier than planned.

In Buon Don commune, the handover of 22 houses in August has spread joy to poor and near-poor households. It is not only a gift of a warm home but also an opportunity for the local government to widely propagate the humane policies and guidelines of our Party and State, as well as the determination to improve the lives of disadvantaged households.

As of August 15, the entire Dak Lak province has completed and handed over a total of 8,915 newly built and repaired houses. Of these, 607 houses were supported for construction and repair for people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives; 1,325 houses were supported for construction and repair from the National Target Program under Decision No. 90 and Decision No. 1719 of the Prime Minister; 6,983 houses were supported for construction and repair for poor and near-poor households under the Prime Minister's Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

Sharing the experience of implementing 40 houses for poor and near-poor households under the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" in the commune, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quoc Hoan, Head of Ia R've Commune Police, said: "During the implementation process, we diversified the forms to resolve all difficulties. The staff of the local government mobilized the entire political system to participate, mobilized nearly 200 working days to dismantle old houses and joined forces to transport construction materials to the construction area (especially for houses located in small alleys). At the same time, we regularly monitored and urged workers and construction contractors. Thanks to this determination, all houses were completed before August 15."
