130 athletes from Ha Dong ward participated in the final round of the 50th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run

On the morning of September 27, Ha Dong ward organized the final round of the 50th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run - For Peace and launched the Olympic Run Day for public health in 2025.

Organizing the race is a practical activity to achieve achievements to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025), the 71st anniversary of Ha Dong Liberation Day (October 6, 1954 - October 6, 2025) and to welcome the success of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Speaking at the race, Vice Chairman of Ha Dong Ward People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hien said that after many years of organization, the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run - For Peace has become a major sports festival, attracting a large number of people from all walks of life to participate.

This year's race had the participation of 130 athletes from sports teams of residential groups; secondary schools, high schools; agencies; armed forces in the area. The race attracted a large number of people from all walks of life to participate, thereby helping to form the habit of exercising and playing sports among the people, contributing to improving health to serve the needs of studying, working, producing, building and defending the Fatherland.

This is not only a practical activity responding to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", "Olympic Running Day for the health of all people", but also an activity to strengthen solidarity and exchange between units and people of all walks of life in the ward. Through the tournament, the Organizing Committee selects excellent athletes to train and participate in the 50th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Open Run - For Peace taking place tomorrow morning, September 28.

After a morning of competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 4 third prizes for individuals; 4 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 4 third prizes for teams to the athletes.
