On October 18, Cuu Long University held a ceremony to receive the Second Class Labor Medal and celebrate the 25th anniversary of the school's founding (2000 - 2025). The ceremony was attended by domestic and international delegates.

At the ceremony, distinguished teacher, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu, Principal of Cuu Long University, said that after 25 years of construction and development, the school has achieved many achievements and made strong changes. Currently, the school enrolls and trains 38 university majors, with over 90 multi-disciplinary majors: economics , engineering, medicine - pharmacy, social sciences - humanities, information technology, languages, high-tech agriculture...

The school currently has 11 master's training programs, 3 first-level specialized training programs, and 4 doctoral programs. The school's staff and lecturers have over 1,200 lecturers with academic titles and degrees, including over 70 professors, associate professors, 241 doctors, 447 masters, nearly 300 doctors, first-level and second-level specialists...

The total training scale is more than 35,000 students, including nearly 1,500 postgraduate students. The school has awarded degrees to more than 38,000 bachelors, engineers and nearly 1,200 masters, many of whom are taking on important leadership roles, experts, entrepreneurs, and researchers at home and abroad...

"The Second Class Labor Medal awarded to Cuu Long University today is both an honor, motivation and responsibility for the school to continue to strive, affirming its position as an important training and scientific research center of the Mekong Delta region," Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat emphasized.

In recognition of the achievements and contributions of Cuu Long University over 25 years of construction and development, the President has decided to award the Second Class Labor Medal to Cuu Long University for its outstanding achievements in scientific research and human resource training, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
