Bac Tra My holds art exchange in Tra Bong district (Quang Ngai)

At the program, the group of artists and actors from Bac Tra My district performed two musical pieces: "Khất vọng Trà My" (music and lyrics by Nguyen Duc and Le Anh Dung), "Gỏi Quế" (a new composition about Tra My cinnamon by musician Nguyen Cuong).

Two performances were choreographed and staged with unique singing and dancing, thereby promoting and introducing folk songs, costumes, gongs imbued with the cultural identity of the Co and Ca Dong people and introducing cinnamon trees and products made from Tra My cinnamon.

The tour created an opportunity to exchange and learn experiences in preserving and maintaining indigenous cultural identity, while contributing to strengthening solidarity between the two border localities.

Also participating in this performance are traditional cultural art troupes from Que Phong, Quy Hop, Quy Chau districts ( Nghe An ); Son Tay, Son Ha (Quang Ngai) and the host unit Tra Bong.
