The conference listened to the Directive of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on organizing civil defense drills to respond to forest fires in Bac Ai district in 2024; listened to the announcement of the Provincial People's Committee's decision on establishing the drill steering committee; approved the steering committee's drill plan, and drafted the assignment of tasks to each steering committee member. According to the plan, the Bac Ai district civil defense drill includes 2 phases, phase 1: organizing preparations to respond to forest fires, phase 2: practicing forest fire fighting, overcoming consequences, handling the environment, and implementing forest restoration solutions.

Concluding the conference, comrade Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, thoroughly grasped the purpose and requirements in performing the civil defense drill task, and at the same time requested the Provincial Drill Steering Committee to direct, urge, inspect and guide relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities to do a good job of preparing and practicing the drill according to the plan, ensuring absolute safety. The Department of Finance quickly synthesized and appraised the budget to ensure the drill achieved high results. The standing agency assisted the Steering Committee in coordinating and ensuring the best success for the drill.
