According to the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, World Tourism Day on September 27 is an occasion for humanity to honor the sustainable values that tourism brings. With this meaning, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province has coordinated with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnam Tourism Association to organize activities in response to World Tourism Day with the theme "Ca Mau - The southernmost point of the country, where nature and peace converge".

Mr. Ngo Vu Thang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, said that the "Quintessence of Ca Mau Culinary Culture" Festival is not only a cultural event but also a message affirming the determination to turn local cuisine into a typical tourism product. From there, it contributes to spreading the image of the southernmost land on the tourism map of Vietnam and the region.

"The meeting of two culinary spaces of Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City is a unique highlight of this year's event. Thereby, it demonstrates the spirit of connection, complementing and enriching the experience for visitors on their journey of discovery at the festival" - Mr. Thang emphasized.
