Miss Grand International Semi-Finals: Yen Nhi is gorgeous in the evening gown competition

On the evening of October 15, the semi-final night of Miss Grand International 2025 officially took place in Bangkok, Thailand. Vietnam's representative - Yen Nhi completed two performances in swimsuit and evening gown.

The competition night opened with a vibrant and hot performance by the international contestants in swimsuits. In this competition, Yen Nhi was in the last group of contestants to perform. The representative of Vietnam appeared with her curly hair loose and charming. To the vibrant music, Yen Nhi walked both strongly and gracefully, showing off her physical beauty, radiant demeanor and confidence.

In the evening gown competition, Yen Nhi transformed into a gorgeous woman with her hair in a high bun, opening with a loud and powerful name calling. Yen Nhi performed in the “Khong Tuoc Dieu” costume by designer Thuong Gia Ky, accented with unique hair accessories.

The evening gown is inspired by the image of a female peacock, graceful and gentle but with a strong vitality, like Vietnamese women who are not ostentatious but persistent and proud. The design has a silvery blue color reminiscent of the color of the sky and water of Vietnam. Each hand-sewn detail recreates the soft feathers of peacocks, meticulously and delicately done.

It is known that before entering the evening gown performance, Yen Nhi unfortunately had peeling and bleeding skin on her legs due to having to continuously wear high heels. “ During the performance, I almost fell because the skin on my legs was torn, painful and burning, but I still tried to stay calm to complete the performance perfectly. I did not want to disappoint everyone , ” Yen Nhi expressed.

Previously, in the National Cultural Costume competition on the evening of October 13, Yen Nhi said that the "Thang Long Hoi" costume weighed nearly 30kg, with its large structure and many bulky metal details, causing her body to have many bruises. However, this competition gave the Dak Lak beauty the opportunity to promote the art of Vietnamese folk water puppetry to international friends.

On social media, Yen Nhi’s National Costume performance has surpassed 35 million views and over 4.3 million likes. This is the video with the highest number of views among the performances posted by the Miss Grand International organizers.

In addition, the photo representing Vietnam wearing "Thang Long Hoi" is also among the most voted with nearly 400,000 reactions, more than 38,000 comments and more than 50,000 shares.

After the scandals related to "slip of the tongue" in behavior, personal statements, foreign language ability... up to the present time, Yen Nhi is in the Top 20 category "Country's Power of the Year." In the next round of voting, she is also among the leading candidates, with the opportunity to be in the final Top 20 of Miss Grand International 2025. The Vietnamese representative also received a high number of votes in the category "Best in Swimsuit," opening up the opportunity for new achievements.

According to the announced schedule, the final night of Miss Grand International 2025 will take place on October 18./.
