This activity of seeking business cooperation opportunities is part of the development strategy of the Vietnam National Energy Industry Group ( Petrovietnam ) in participating in international trade activities, directly carrying out import-export activities and trading crude oil, intermediate products, gasoline and petrochemicals domestically and internationally.
During the working trip, the BSR delegation worked with five important partners, who are leading enterprises in the field of petroleum import and distribution in Cambodia: Kampuchea Tela, TotalEnergies Marketing (Cambodia), Sokimex Investment Group, Bright Victory Mekong Petroleum Import Export (BVM), and Savimex. These partners are all reputable units with wide-ranging operations and play an important role in the Cambodian energy market.

During the working sessions, the BSR delegation and partners discussed the demand and orientation for petroleum imports, the possibility of BSR becoming a strategic supplier for the Cambodian market, as well as the plan to test the first shipment in 2025 towards long-term cooperation. The two sides paid special attention to technical standards and product quality, credit and payment conditions, selection of suitable import ports, and the process of evaluating and registering suppliers. This is an important step to help BSR better understand the characteristics of the Cambodian market, thereby building an effective and sustainable cooperation plan in the coming time. Organizing the survey trip shows that BSR is proactively aiming to enter the international market, not only participating in the domestic market but also seeking new export routes.

Previously, BSR successfully exported two batches of DO oil to Laos with a total volume of 735 m³, opening up a stable customer channel, diversifying the market, increasing initiative and affirming its flexible supply capacity in the Petrovietnam value chain. In addition to DO oil, BSR has also exported many products such as naphtha, FO, LPG, propylene, polypropylene resin and sulfur.

The survey and export to the Cambodian market - a potential market - marks an important step in BSR's internationalization strategy in 2025, demonstrating the efforts to expand the market, diversify products and take advantage of geographical - economic - political advantages to build a regional supply chain, raising the BSR brand on the Southeast Asian oil and gas map.
