Also attending were Party Central Committee members, former Party Central Committee members, leaders of the Board, former leaders of the Board, Department heads, and heads of units under the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.

The report at the meeting said that 2025 marked an important turning point in propaganda and mass mobilization work when at the Central level, the Party's strategic advisory body on propaganda and mass mobilization work was merged. The Central Propaganda Department and the Central Mass Mobilization Department were the first two agencies to merge according to the decision of the Politburo . They can be considered as model units for the Central, local and other political and social organizations.

After the merger, the Board has a total of 310 positions. The number of department-level focal points has been reduced from 31 to 17 departments and units. The number of room-level focal points has been reduced from 33 to 7 rooms. At the local level, the provincial and municipal Party Committees have also completed the merger of the two boards. Currently, the total number of cadres in the sector is 2,407 comrades. Nearly 300 cadres and party members have voluntarily retired early or transferred jobs, demonstrating a sense of responsibility and being exemplary for the common cause.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the entire sector advised the Politburo and the Secretariat to issue 17 important projects, resolutions, and conclusions on the fields of culture, religion, public opinion, and Party building in terms of politics, ideology, and ethics. Activities to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style were creatively deployed, creating a widespread influence. The work of grasping public opinion and forecasting social ideology was strengthened, helping Party committees promptly handle issues arising from the grassroots, contributing to maintaining political and ideological stability in the whole society. External information and propaganda activities on seas and islands, culture, and people-to-people diplomacy continued to be methodically and creatively deployed.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia affirmed that the merger of the two Committees was a historic step, demonstrating both the spirit of innovation and political mettle and high consensus in the entire industry. This was a combination of propaganda and mobilization, of ideology and action, creating new strength for the great national unity bloc.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia also informed the delegates attending the meeting about a number of key tasks in the coming time of the Committee, and expressed that the meeting was not only to pay tribute to previous generations but also an opportunity for those working in propaganda and mass mobilization today to receive the traditional flame, continue to promote intelligence, courage, dare to think, dare to do, dare to innovate for the common interests of the Party, State and people.

The meeting took place in a warm, emotional atmosphere, imbued with the spirit of solidarity, expressing the respect and gratitude of generations of cadres towards the propaganda and mass mobilization sector in building trust and arousing the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country.
