The Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee issued an Action Program to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Resolution No. 03/NQ-CP of the Government on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

On February 24, 2025, Member of the Party Central Committee - Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Quang, on behalf of the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee, signed and issued Action Program No. 03-CTr/TU (abbreviated as Action Program No. 03) to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Resolution No. 03/NQ-CP of the Government on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation. This program demonstrates the province's determination to promote the above fields, contributing to local socio-economic development.

Action Program No. 03 of the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee sets out key tasks such as:

- Raising awareness and responsibility: Organizing extensive propaganda about the importance of science , technology, innovation and digital transformation to all levels, sectors and people in the province.

- Perfecting mechanisms and policies: Building and adjusting policies to support research and application of science and technology, encouraging innovation and promoting digital transformation in socio -economic fields.

An Giang focuses on applying science and technology and innovation in production.

- Developing digital infrastructure: Investing in building a synchronous and modern information technology infrastructure, ensuring network safety and security, creating a foundation for effective digital transformation.

- Human resource training: Focus on training and fostering high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of development and application of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.

- Promote digital transformation, application of science, technology, and innovation in the operations of agencies in the political system: improve governance efficiency and effectiveness of state management in all fields, ensure national defense and security.

- Strongly promote science, technology, innovation and digital transformation activities in enterprises.

- Cooperation and linkage: Promote cooperation between state agencies, enterprises, research institutes and universities inside and outside the province to share experiences, transfer technology and implement innovation projects.

The issuance and implementation of Action Program No. 03 demonstrates An Giang province's strong commitment to implementing the Central Government's policies and guidelines on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation, towards the goal of sustainable development and improving the quality of life for people.
