Initial information, at 4:00 p.m. on November 8, My Quy Tay Border Guard Station coordinated with Go Vap District Police to inspect Thao My motel (Hamlet 4, My Quy Tay Commune, Duc Hue District, Long An Province).

Checking 3 rooms at the motel, the police discovered 8 people including: Phan Nguyen Duy Thuan, Hoang Gia Kiet, Dinh Trong Kiet, Nguyen Thi Hong Ngoc, Nguyen Thi Bao Ngoc, Quang Thanh Tam, Truong Duc Tai, Nguyen Dang Huynh Phat.

8 people were arrested at My Quy Tay Border Guard Station.

In addition, the police discovered 2 colorless crystalline nylon packages (the suspect admitted to being ketamine-type drugs); 1 bottle of orange liquid (the suspect admitted to being liquid drugs); 1 black metal gun with code MITYSR007S10mm, 2 rubber bullets, 2 used bullet shells; 3 iPhone 13 Promax phones, 1 iPhone 12 Promax phone.

At the My Quy Tay Border Guard Station, these people confessed that at 0:15 on November 8, they went to address 81/14, Street 59, Ward 14, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City to resolve a conflict with a person named NNTQ. Here, Phan Nguyen Duy Thuan used a gun to shoot 2 bullets into the sky and then they all fled.

At 1:30 a.m. the same day, this group rented a car to go to My Quy Tay border gate (Duc Hue district, Long An province) to escape across the border to Cambodia. When they arrived at My Quy Tay border gate, they rented a motel at Thao My to rest.

At 4:00 p.m. the same day, he was checked and arrested by officers of My Quy Tay Border Guard Station and Go Vap District Police.
