The supercomputer predicts that PSG has a 20.6% chance of winning the FIFA Club World Cup, slightly higher than the second-placed team, Man City (20.4%). Thus, PSG still has not lost its position as the top candidate after a difficult group stage, where they got the top spot in Group B thanks to the head-to-head index with Botafogo and Atletico Madrid.
Meanwhile, Man City impressed by leading Group G with three wins, deserving to be the number 2 candidate for the championship.
Surprisingly, Inter Milan is the third candidate with a 12.4% chance of winning the title. Next is Bayern Munich with an 11.3% chance of winning the title while Chelsea is in 5th place with a 10.4% chance.
Five-time winners of the Club World Cup under the old format, Real Madrid, have just a 9.7% chance of winning the title, finishing sixth. It is also surprising that Real Madrid are not in the top five, and are rated lower than Chelsea.

Behind Real Madrid are Dortmund, Benfica, Juventus... In the group of teams with the lowest chance of winning the championship, Fluminense is at the bottom, behind both Monterrey and Lionel Messi's Inter Miami. Asian team Al Hilal is ranked 12th, above Botafogo in terms of the chance of winning the championship.
Today, June 28, the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will enter the round of 16 with two matches: Palmeiras vs Botafogo (11pm) and Benfica vs Chelsea (2am June 29).
