“Happy Vietnam 2023” is a photo and video contest on the topic of human rights in Vietnam, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) and the Department of Foreign Information.
On the evening of December 19, in Hanoi, the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition and Announcement of the Awards of the first "Happy Vietnam - Happy Viet Nam" Photo and Video Contest, 2023, took place solemnly.
Since launching the contest in June 2023, after 4 months, the contest has attracted the participation of more than 7,000 photo and video works. As a result, the Organizing Committee has selected 28 works for awards and 70 photo works, 14 video works for exhibition.
The contest is a vivid demonstration of the deep concern and consistent policy of our Party and State towards taking care of the material and spiritual life of the people, taking the people as the center, in the spirit of "Leaving no one behind" and creating all favorable conditions for people to participate, contribute, promote their capacity and intelligence in the cause of building, developing, protecting the Fatherland and international integration of the country.
