Linh Phong Thien Uyen Pagoda was built around 1988, located on the slope of Nho mountain, founded by Venerable Elder Thich Tri Tinh - a high-ranking monk who has made many contributions to the cause of propagating and developing Vietnamese Buddhism.

Initially, the pagoda was just a small hermitage built as a place for studying and practicing, with an area of about 100 square meters. After a long period of construction and expansion, with the contributions of monks and Buddhists from all over, the pagoda has become a majestic Buddhist architectural complex, located in a cool and peaceful green space.

Along with its unique architecture, the special thing about Linh Phong Thien Uyen Pagoda is that it was built by Venerable Elder Thich Tri Tinh himself during many years of practicing Buddhism, without receiving any financial help from Buddhists.

Traditional architecture, with strong Northern influence

Unlike many Southern-style pagodas popular in the South, Linh Phong Thien Uyen has bold Northern architecture.

The entire structure is designed with curved tiled roofs, large wooden pillars, and delicately carved reliefs. Every detail in the pagoda carries the breath of traditional Northern Buddhism, from the shape of the Buddha statues to the interior decoration.

The temple grounds are surrounded by trees, miniature landscapes and ancillary works such as: Tinh Tam Lake (photo), Quan Am Cave, Ten Temples of Hell, Buddha King Temple, Nirvana Buddha, stele house, Hung King Temple and temples to worship Tho Than, Son Than, Tam To Tower...

Each space has its own meaning in Buddhist beliefs and Vietnamese folk culture.

Next to the main hall is the Tam To tower.

A special detail is that in all worship areas in the temple, there are no donation boxes, which is rare in temples today. This is considered a unique feature that shows the spirit of pure practice, not focusing on material factors.
