Speaking at the working session with the Tan Thanh Commune Party Committee, Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Tien Hai praised the Tan Thanh Commune Party Committee and the commune's political system for their efforts in completing their tasks since the implementation of the two-level local government. Ideological work has been maintained stably, and the arrangement and assignment of cadres has been reasonable and appropriate to the actual situation. The commune's Public Administration Service Center has operated effectively, serving the people well. Security and order have been ensured stably, contributing to strengthening people's trust.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Party Committee and the communal government to continue promoting the spirit of internal solidarity, maintaining discipline and administrative order, strictly implementing regulations of superiors and the law in the process of implementing new tasks; at the same time, mastering the work of decentralization and delegation of power, being proactive and flexible in handling work, ensuring that all activities of the political system at the grassroots level operate synchronously and effectively.

Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Tien Hai emphasized that Tan Thanh commune needs to pay attention to the work of arranging, mobilizing and organizing the staff reasonably, ensuring stability and promoting the working capacity of each individual; at the same time, focus on investing in facilities, creating favorable conditions for cadres and civil servants to work and live with peace of mind.

Comrade Nguyen Tien Hai noted that the locality needs to promote the potential of saline areas by growing rice on shrimp farming land. Accordingly, shrimp must have high productivity and quality; rice must be of good quality, effectively tolerant to salinity, thereby helping to increase people's income. He suggested that the agricultural sector support farmers with seeds, techniques, build improved extensive farming models, gradually expand the area and increase the value of rice and shrimp, helping people to do better and better.

Mobilizing people to hand over construction site for Lot B - O Mon gas pipeline project

Reporting to the working delegation, Secretary of Tan Thanh Commune Party Committee Lam Van Trieu said that immediately after establishing the Tan Thanh Commune Party Committee (new), the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee led the development and promulgation of working regulations of the Party Executive Committee, working regulations of advisory and support agencies in accordance with their functions, tasks, powers and working relationships.

For the Party agency, Tan Thanh commune is assigned 27 cadres and civil servants, currently there are 35 comrades. The number of people working in public service units of Tan Thanh commune is 314 positions (of which 50 are civil servants; 264 are employees receiving salaries from the state budget). Currently, 30/50 positions are present. The service units have 246/264 people present. In addition, 6 people are reassigned to work part-time.

Currently, 100% of cadres and civil servants use document management and administration software; send and receive electronic documents, and apply digital signatures. 100% of cadres and civil servants use official email; the rate of documents processed online reaches 100%. The Commune People's Committee has coordinated with the post office, Viettel, VNPT... to propagate and guide people to use digital platforms such as cashless payments via QR code, e-wallet; register for VNeID electronic identification accounts...

The commune has supported people to register accounts, submit documents and procedures on the online public service portal in accordance with regulations; guided organizations, business households and cooperatives to apply information technology in production and business. At the same time, organized digital transformation training sessions for officials, civil servants and community digital technology teams. The commune established community digital technology teams in 100% of hamlets.

Since the two-level local government mechanism was put into operation, the Tan Thanh Commune Public Administration Service Center has been operating in an orderly manner; equipment has been invested to meet the requirements of the task. The service quality rating in July 2025 was 76.82 points (good); in August it was 91.9 points (excellent); in September it was 90.67 points (excellent).

In terms of socio-economics, the total production value in the area of some key industries is estimated at 1,706.08 billion VND, reaching 89.51% of the 2025 plan; of which, the production value of agriculture, forestry and fishery accounts for 66.23%. The production value of industry and construction accounts for 33.77%.

The total aquaculture and fishing output of the commune reached 21,220 tons, reaching 86.4% of the year's resolution. The total area for stocking and farming reached 25,529 hectares, reaching 97.67% of the plan. The whole commune has 169 fishing vessels, with a total capacity of over 22,328 horsepower. The whole commune has 31 production cooperatives and 7 cooperatives. Currently, the commune has 79 poor households, accounting for 1.14% and 136 near-poor households, accounting for 2.03%.

Tan Thanh Commune People's Committee coordinated with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and the investor of the Lot B - O Mon gas pipeline project to propagate and mobilize people to hand over the site to the construction unit. In the commune, there are 160 plans with 156 households and 1 organization with projects passing through the hamlets.

The Commune People's Committee is focusing on dialogue, resolving difficulties and problems of the remaining households, mobilizing and persuading people to receive compensation and hand over the site to the construction unit.

The Xeo Nhau culvert project is part of the investment project to build 3 culverts: Dam Chich, Phu My, Xeo Nhau. The culvert scale includes 3 gates, the valve gate is opened and closed by hydraulic cylinders, and there is a traffic bridge on the culvert. The construction capital of the project is about 283 billion VND. The project started construction in April 2025 and is expected to be completed in November 2026.
