Tay Ninh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Thanh Tam holds the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tay Ninh province, was assigned and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee.

On February 27, the Central Organizing Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision.

Accordingly, the Politburo decided that Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tay Ninh province, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and ceased to hold the position of Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

At the same time, the Politburo mobilized, assigned and appointed Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee.

Thus, the leadership of the Central Organizing Committee includes Head Le Minh Hung and 7 Deputy Heads: Nguyen Quang Duong, Hoang Dang Quang, Pham Thi Thanh Tra (concurrently Minister of Home Affairs), Nguyen Thanh Hai (concurrently Chairman of the Delegation Work Committee), Do Trong Hung, Phan Thang An, Nguyen Thanh Tam.

The new Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, Nguyen Thanh Tam, was born on November 20, 1974, in Loc Hung ward, Trang Bang town, Tay Ninh province. He has a Master's degree in Economics in Public Policy, a Bachelor's degree in Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in political theory.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam is a member of the 13th Party Central Committee; a delegate of the 12th and 13th National Assembly.

During his time working in Tay Ninh province, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam held the following positions: Deputy Director and then Acting Director of the Department of Posts and Telecommunications; Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications; Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Secretary of the Go Dau District Party Committee; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
