Provincial Party Secretary - Tran Van Lau visits religious establishments

On the afternoon of October 22, comrade Tran Van Lau - Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee led the working delegation to visit and present gifts to typical religious establishments in Tra Vinh ward.

Comrade Tran Van Lau - Provincial Party Secretary visited and presented gifts to Venerable Thach Sok Xane.

The delegation included comrade Kim Ngoc Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrade Nguyen Thi Be Muoi - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and local authorities.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in the province; the Provincial Association of Patriotic Monks and Monks Solidarity and Most Venerable Thach Sok Xane - Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Provincial Association of Patriotic Monks and Monks Solidarity, and the Abbot of Ang Pagoda.

Comrade Tran Van Lau - Provincial Party Secretary and Comrade Kim Ngoc Thai - Deputy Provincial Party Secretary visited the monks of the Provincial Association of Patriotic Buddhist Monks.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Van Lau presented a gift to Venerable Thach Oai - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Association for Solidarity of Patriotic Monks and Monks.

At the places visited, comrade Tran Van Lau - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee reported on the results of the 1st Congress of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030; information on the implementation of the 2-level local government apparatus in the province; outstanding results in the fields of economy , culture - society, national defense - security in the province in the first 9 months of 2025.

Provincial leaders visited and talked intimately with monks of the Provincial Association of Patriotic Buddhist Monks.

Comrade Kim Ngoc Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee presented gifts to monks of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province.

Provincial Party Secretary - Tran Van Lau highly appreciated the contributions of religious organizations in the province in the past time, accompanying the Party Committees and authorities at all levels. At the same time, he affirmed that the Party and State always care for the lives of ethnic minorities, continue to have policies to ensure the lives of ethnic minorities according to the motto "No one is left behind".

The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the monks will continue to promote propaganda, education and mobilization of Buddhist followers to properly implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; work, produce and study, not to do anything illegal, especially to raise vigilance against hostile forces.

In particular, mobilizing Buddhist followers to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity among ethnic groups, implementing the motto "Buddhism - Nation - Socialism", and joining hands to build the homeland and country to become more and more prosperous.
