
This year's "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week has the participation of more than 200 people from 18 ethnic groups including: Tay, Nung, Dao, Mong, Muong, Lao, Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Ba Na, Co Tu, Xo Dang, Gia Rai, Raglai, E De, Khmer, Kinh, Cham Balamon... along with a group of artisans and mass actors participating in the 2nd Muong Ethnic Cultural Festival.
Through vibrant and unique cultural, sports and tourism exchange activities, the Week of "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" has become a major festival to celebrate the Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Day (November 23), an occasion to honor the rich cultural heritage of 54 ethnic groups; at the same time affirming the spirit of great national unity forged through thousands of years of history of building and defending the country.

Within the framework of the event, many rich and attractive programs will take place such as: Opening ceremony of the Week "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" associated with the 2nd Muong Ethnic Culture Festival, 2025; Scientific workshop "Preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development"; program to promote and introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends at the "Common House"; National Great Unity Festival; "Cultural Colors of Festivals" activities, folk performances, exchanges and introductions of unique cultural beauty of ethnic groups.
The Week of “Great National Unity - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage” is an opportunity to promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam as friendly and hospitable, while raising public awareness of the value of heritage, thereby encouraging the community to actively participate in the work of preserving, creating and applying traditional values in contemporary life.
Through cultural experiences and culinary enjoyment, people and domestic and international tourists have the opportunity to vividly experience the life, customs and beliefs of Vietnamese ethnic groups.
The event not only honors the cultural identity of 54 ethnic groups but also contributes to building an advanced Vietnamese culture with strong identity; promotes cohesion between localities in heritage conservation, tourism development and promoting the image of Vietnam to the world.
