“Border Full Moon Festival Night” 2025

This is an annual activity with profound humanitarian meaning, aiming to encourage students to overcome difficulties, strive to become good children and good students, good grandchildren of Uncle Ho.

Attending the program were leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command, Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Women's Union, Vietinbank Lai Chau, Viettel Lai Chau; Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People's Committee of the commune and Command Board of Pa Tan Border Guard Station; businesses, philanthropists, teenagers, children and people in the commune.

The program "Border Full Moon Festival Night" brought joy to children in border areas on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival 2025.

At the program, 1,100 teenagers and children in the commune were treated to a vibrant and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival with unique and attractive performances. In addition, the children also got to join the Mid-Autumn Festival, watch lion dances, participate in lantern parades, play folk games and listen to stories about Cuoi and Hang.

Speaking at the program, Colonel Le Cong Thanh - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command sent his best wishes to the children on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival. He emphasized that the Mid-Autumn Festival is not only a family reunion festival but also a Children's Festival, an occasion for children across the country to receive the attention and love of their families and society. However, due to difficult and deprived conditions and circumstances, many children cannot fully celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival like their peers. The organization of the program "Border - Full Moon Festival Night" contributes to encouraging children in the border area to strive to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies. The image of the border guard soldier will become closer and more lovable in the minds and eyes of children.

He hoped that the teenagers and children in Pa Tan commune, the children in the program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of border guards" and the project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" would continue to try to study, listen to teachers, help, share, love friends, unite to practice the 5 things Uncle Ho taught teenagers and children, be good children, good students, useful people for society, worthy of the tradition of learning of the locality.

On this occasion, in order to commend and encourage the spirit of striving to achieve high academic achievements of students with especially difficult circumstances, spreading the emulation movement of studying, the Provincial Border Guard Command and the Provincial Women's Union presented 14 gifts to students in the Program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of Border Guard Station" and the Project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" in Pa Tan commune. Lai Chau Provincial Youth Union presented 50 cartons of milk and 10 gifts; the Provincial Border Guard Command, Lai Chau Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Women's Union, Vietinbank Lai Chau, Viettel Lai Chau presented 40 gifts to students with especially difficult circumstances who achieved high academic achievements.
