Binh Thanh Dong carries out works to welcome the Congress of delegates of political and social organizations.

On the afternoon of October 22, the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thanh Dong commune (An Giang province) held an inauguration ceremony for the rural street lighting project and presented gifts to poor and near-poor households.

Delegates performed the inauguration ceremony of the project.

This is one of the typical projects to welcome the 1st Congress of Delegates of Political and Social Organizations of Binh Thanh Dong Commune, term 2025 - 2030. The project is carried out on the road of Hiep Hung and Binh Tay 1 hamlets, with a length of 4km, installing 100 solar-powered lamp posts.

The total cost of the project is over 300 million VND, completely socialized. Of which, Mr. Nguyen Van Phung's family, residing in Vinh Thong ward ( An Giang province) supported 250 million VND, the rest was contributed by the people.

Giving gifts to the disabled, lonely elderly, poor and near-poor households in the commune.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Binh Thanh Dong commune awarded 23 individuals who have contributed to the rural street lighting project. Philanthropists and local authorities presented 300 gifts to the disabled, lonely elderly, poor and near-poor households in Binh Thanh Dong commune, each gift worth 600,000 VND.
