Minister Nguyen Van Hung: Maximize the democratic spirit of participation and contribution to the Party to continue perfecting the Congress documents

Comrade Nguyen Van Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee, Head of the Government Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Secretary of the Ministry Party Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that since the implementation, the entire Government Party Committee has received over 110,000 opinions from officials and party members contributing to the documents of the 14th National Congress, including the draft Political Report.

On the afternoon of October 13, in Hanoi, a press conference was held to inform about the results of the 1st Government Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh chaired the press conference.

Also attending the press conference were comrades of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, comrades of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee; comrades of Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies; leaders of advisory and support agencies of the Government Party Committee; and a large number of reporters and editors of news agencies and newspapers.

At the Press Conference, answering questions from reporters about the main features and important contents that the Government Party Congress approved to contribute to the Political Report and Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, comrade Nguyen Van Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Government Party Standing Committee, Head of the Government Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Secretary of the Ministry Party Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized that the Political Report of the 14th Congress is the intellectual product of the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army; more broadly, it is the wisdom of the entire nation.

Therefore, after directing the drafting of the Report, the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat focused on widely collecting opinions from cadres, party members, and people of all walks of life, as well as had many plans and instructions to organize the collection of opinions and are currently in the process of continuing to collect opinions for completion.

Comrade Nguyen Van Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee, Head of the Government Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Secretary of the Ministry Party Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism informed at the press conference on the afternoon of October 13.

After that, the Party Central Committee will officially decide on the draft Report based on the reception of reasonable and accurate opinions from Party organizations, scientists, and the people and issue it to submit to the 14th Party Congress.

From the perspective of the Government Party Committee, Minister Nguyen Van Hung said that after the resolution of the Party Central Committee, the Government Party Committee issued many documents directing party organizations under the Party Committee to launch extensive political activities to thoroughly grasp the basic contents of the draft Political Report.

This helps cadres and party members to have correct and complete awareness, to maximize the democratic spirit, to participate and contribute to the Party in continuing to perfect documents, in the spirit that documents are the crystallization of the wisdom of the entire Party.

Therefore, since its implementation, the entire Party and Government have received over 110,000 opinions from officials and Party members contributing to the 14th Congress documents, including the draft Political Report.

"It can be said that this is a quite large number of comments and contributions, and right during the discussion session, at the Congress, there were 75 comments directly discussing and contributing to the documents of the 14th National Party Congress, including the Political Report," said Minister Nguyen Van Hung.

Minister Nguyen Van Hung also affirmed that this shows the great concern of cadres and party members in the Government Party Committee, showing that our Party always promotes the democratic role, upholds democracy in the Party and in society, and has a close relationship with the people - one of the Party's leadership methods.

According to Minister Nguyen Van Hung, at the Government Party Congress, the Presidium reported a synthesis of all the contents of the synthesis of opinions and suggestions with a capacity of 30 pages and the delegates all agreed on these contents to submit to the Central Committee for the Central Committee to study.

That shows the high agreement and consensus with the draft report after many comments and believes that the report has been carefully, thoughtfully, scientifically and thoroughly prepared, with many breakthrough contents, especially timely updates of new viewpoints and the most recent new policies issued by the Politburo, to continue to perfect the Political Report in the era of building a strong and prosperous country.

The Congress also contributed ideas to further supplement and clarify some contents in the reports and in each comment.

First of all, the Congress highly agreed on the issues that the Party raised in the theme and motto, especially determining the growth model of our country in the new period, the next 5 years. That is, the growth model must be based on the development of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

The Congress emphasized the need to focus on restructuring the country's human resources, including high-quality human resources; ensuring this factor in the development process. Because after all, to organize and implement, people are still the most important factor.

Press conference to inform about the results of the 1st Government Party Congress, term 2025-2030

Minister Nguyen Van Hung said the Congress affirmed the achievements that the Party has led our people to achieve in the past term. We must continue to promote, develop and affirm, renew the growth model, new driving forces as well as forecast that we have the ability to overcome and bring our country to achieve the goals that the Party has determined in two development milestones: 100 years of the Party's founding, 100 years of the country's founding.

Regarding the points of comments, the Minister said that many delegates were very interested in: Success requires drawing out the causes and lessons learned. Delegates were also interested in analyzing more deeply and clarifying lessons on ensuring economic stability and socio-political security.

Regarding breakthroughs, many delegates expressed interest and completely agreed with the three breakthroughs, but emphasized the breakthrough in building and perfecting institutions and laws; making institutions and laws a competitive advantage.

Minister Nguyen Van Hung stated that all comments on the documents of the 14th National Party Congress were received and edited honestly by the Presidium of the Government Party Congress, without omission, and proposed to the Central Committee relevant issues for research, consideration, and acceptance in the Political Report./.
