The program "Union Meal" implemented by trade unions at all levels in the province in recent times is not only a daily meal but also a concern and sharing of trade unions and enterprises for workers who are working day and night with the production and business of the unit and enterprise.

Recently, more than 200 workers at Kansai Paint Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Pho Noi A Industrial Park) gathered around a simple but warm meal with solidarity called "Union Meal". The congratulations and encouragement from the leaders of the enterprise and the union mixed with the cheerful laughter, creating a close atmosphere like a complete family. The atmosphere of the meal was more bustling with stories about work and daily life. Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, a worker of the Company, was moved: We feel very happy and joyful to enjoy a delicious meal in a joyful, cozy atmosphere, thereby adding positive energy, connecting the collective spirit, the values ​​of solidarity and love, making me feel like a part of the union family.

The "Union meal" organized by the Trade Union of Kansai Paint Vietnam Co., Ltd. is worth 120,000 VND/meal, of which the Trade Union supports an additional 50,000 VND/meal. In addition, the Trade Union mobilizes additional social resources to organize a warm, nutritious meal for workers. Mr. Trinh Van Dat, Chairman of the Company's Trade Union, said: This is part of a series of practical care activities of the Company's Trade Union aimed at improving the material and spiritual life of workers, building a civilized, modern and humane working environment. Besides, it is also an opportunity for business leaders to meet workers, creating an atmosphere of solidarity and understanding, thereby building trust and attachment of workers to the business.

At Yazaki Hai Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd., Thai Binh branch (Song Tra Industrial Park), more than 4,900 workers participated in the "Union Meal" program, each meal cost 50,000 VND, in which the Company's Union supported an additional 20,000 VND/meal compared to the daily shift meal, so the meal had many more nutritious dishes such as: Fried chicken, spinach soup with meat, watermelon and milk dessert... On the dining table, with a full tray of food, many workers were excited about the special meal, Ms. Tong Thi Thuy, a worker of the Company happily said: Today, we not only enjoyed delicious food but also clearly felt the care and sharing from the union organization and the Company's leaders, so we were very happy. Along with that, the employees are cared for by the enterprise and the enterprise's Trade Union, ensuring salary, bonus, social insurance, unemployment insurance... Therefore, I have worked at the enterprise for more than 13 years and will continue to work there for a long time.

Many workers participated in the "Union Meal" at Yazaki Hai Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd., Thai Binh branch (Song Tra Industrial Park).

From August to the end of September 2025, the whole province has 51 grassroots trade unions implementing the "Union Meal" program with nearly 27,000 workers benefiting. The "Union Meal" meals are equal to the value of a regular shift meal and the additional amount of more than 1 billion VND is supported by the grassroots trade union's financial resources and social mobilization sources. The criteria for "Union Meal" are to ensure food safety and hygiene and not affect the business's operations, aiming at the goal that all workers can benefit, so "Union Meal" is organized with close coordination between the grassroots trade union and business leaders, creating consensus and positive response from workers. In some enterprises, "Union Meals" not only contribute to practically taking care of workers' lives but are also an occasion to admit new union members, give birthday gifts, give gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, and grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers...
