Ca Mau holds a meeting of the Coordination Team to implement a cooperation agreement with FPT Group on digital transformation for the period 2025 - 2030

On October 6, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan, Head of the Coordination Team of the cooperation agreement with FPT on science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation in the province, period 2025 - 2030, chaired a meeting of the Coordination Team to listen to the approval of the draft plan to implement the cooperation agreement between the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and FPT Group (plan).

Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, General Director ofFPT Corporation, Chairman of FPT National Digital Transformation Council and members of the Coordination Team.

According to the draft plan, the two sides will cooperate in the following areas: Institutional building and improvement; high-quality human resource development; digital platform development; digital data development; digital government building; digital economic development and digital society development.

In the immediate future, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province proposed that FPT Group support the pilot implementation of smart kiosks to support people and businesses in submitting administrative procedures; advise on the development of resolutions, action programs, and plans for digital transformation implementation in the 2026-2030 period; build a shared provincial data warehouse and an open data service portal; develop a smart urban project; support digital transformation training and artificial intelligence application to improve labor productivity; and provide vocational and professional training for unemployed workers in the province.

Within the framework of cooperation, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province will create conditions for FPT Group to promote investment in building a system of inter-level general schools and vocational training schools with preferential policies to attract investment according to the provisions of law.

Through cooperation activities to mobilize resources to promote digital transformation in Ca Mau province; comprehensive and comprehensive transformation from state agencies, to people and businesses in terms of lifestyle, working style, production and consumption methods based on digital technology; at the same time, creating conditions and encouraging businesses to invest in building information technology and telecommunications infrastructure; developing digital infrastructure, digital platforms, digital data, digital applications associated with ensuring information safety and security, contributing to promoting production, business activities, and socio-economic development in the province.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and agreed on the draft plan, especially the contents that need to be implemented immediately in 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan, Head of the Coordination Team, requested the parties to coordinate well in implementing the immediate tasks; in which, focusing on training, fostering, and coaching for the team of cadres, civil servants, and public employees; promoting digital transformation in the fields of health, education and training; urgently completing policies to call for investment and socialization in the fields of health and education, creating conditions for the province to call for the construction of high-quality inter-level general schools and vocational colleges; selecting and piloting smart kiosks to support people and businesses in submitting administrative procedures.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan requested departments and branches, especially the Department of Science and Technology, to closely coordinate with FPT Group to concretize the content of the cooperation agreement to focus on implementation, in order to soon bring about results in cooperation between Ca Mau province and FPT Group, contributing to the common development of the two sides in the coming time.
