The 2023 Asian Arts Festival will be held from July 10-14 in Singapore. The event will feature artists from 24 countries, aiming to give young Asian artists an opportunity to showcase their artistic talents to the world . The 2023 Asian Arts Festival is a program organized by the Singapore government. This time, Tan Nhan will directly bring his students to Singapore to compete, side by side with them, and conquer a milestone in their careers.

Feeling emotional when holding the Gold Cup in her hand, student Nguyen Thi Yen Linh expressed: "I myself did not think that I would be able to participate in a competition outside of Vietnam like this. However, Ms. Tan Nhan encouraged and urged me to overcome myself and know how to set goals for myself early in my career. She even always told me that when I was young, I had to look out to the world and approach the world's art scene.
Since 2 years ago, she has trained me by giving me more difficult assignments than my ability and testing me regularly during my studies. Luckily, this summer, she encouraged me to participate in the Asia Arts Festival 2023 and she also took me there, always stood by me and accompanied me to motivate me to overcome myself and achieve such good results. I feel very happy and grateful to Ms. Tan Nhan - the teacher who is always dedicated to her students and urges us to move forward to devote ourselves to art!

Young student Pham Thuy Linh was still nervous at the moment she heard her name being honored with the Gold Cup, revealing: "Before this competition, I met Ms. Tan Nhan to ask her permission... not to participate in the competition. The reason was because I felt pressured when competing with international friends. I felt not confident enough and worried that I was not qualified enough to participate in international vocal competitions. But, the wonderful thing is that Ms. Tan Nhan put her trust in me, she was determined not to let me back down. She encouraged me to definitely overcome my comfort zone, to push myself into a corner to have the motivation to move forward, even though this is not a very difficult competition in the field of vocal music.
After being encouraged by her, I was determined to participate with the mindset that whether I won the prize or not, for me it would be a memorable experience to learn and gain experience in the international environment. Now, holding the Gold Cup in my hand, I cannot express my gratitude to Ms. Tan Nhan for encouraging, stimulating, and giving me great motivation to achieve the results I have today. This will be a stepping stone for me to continue to improve and conquer the upcoming stages of my career."

Singer Tan Nhan was accused by her students of being difficult.
Student Le Tuyet Anh expressed that this is truly a worthy achievement for the training efforts of Ms. Tan Nhan and Le Tuyet Anh herself over the past time. "I feel very lucky to have been guided and mentally prepared by Ms. Tan Nhan to overcome the competitions since I entered the Vietnam National Academy of Music. She guided me for two years, carefully preparing me from song selection, vocal techniques, and breathing."
Before the success of his student, singer Tan Nhan emotionally said: "For an artist to be successful in his career, in addition to the gifted talent, it is a constant training and effort. Artists who have achieved breakthrough success must know how to go beyond their comfort zone, dare to take risks, dare to be reckless.
The younger generation needs this even more because they are living in a flat world, the opportunity to exchange and interact with the world's art scene is much easier than ours. Therefore, there is no reason for them not to go beyond their own safety zone, the narrow environment around them to reach out to the world, to seek for themselves regional and international achievements.
Honestly, I am known as a strict teacher, and you are right in your "accusations". I always require my students to overcome difficulties and to constantly strive to find a good place for themselves in today's competitive art environment. I always tell them to push themselves into a corner, because only by standing in that position will they have the pressure to "pass the gate of heaven".

Previously, as a Lecturer, Tan Nhan had many generations of students who won major music awards at home and abroad such as: Lai Thi Huong Ly - Gold Cup of Asia Pacific Music Festival - 2017, 3rd Prize Sao Mai 2017 Chamber Music, First Prize Gold Medal for Young Talents of Professional Art Schools nationwide - 2017, Second Prize Kyushu Music Concour 2018 in Japan in 2018; Nguyen Thi Thanh Quy - Top 3 Sao Mai 2019, Runner-up of Duet 2018, Silver Medal for National Young Talent 2016; Pham Thuy Linh - Second Prize of the Bac Ninh Singing Music Festival 2020...
In the program " Music Path" - Tan Nhan which took place last April, the female artist confided that she wanted to become a People's Teacher rather than a People's Artist. For her, the desire to inspire, discover and train generations of students to become talented artists for the country's art is not inferior to the desire to succeed in the artistic path that she is passionate about. Therefore, Tan Nhan has never hesitated when being evaluated as a strict and demanding teacher in training, she affirmed that she will continue to be the image of a strict teacher, training her students thoroughly, "not holding back" to help her students reap "sweet fruits" in their careers.
