BlackPink's songs do not violate performing arts regulations

On the afternoon of June 30, at the press conference of the Hanoi People's Committee, Ms. Pham Thi My Hoa - Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports responded to information before the event that the Korean music group Blackpink will perform at My Dinh Stadium.

Ms. Pham Thi My Hoa said that on the morning of June 27, the Department received a license application from the band BlackPink. This is a famous Korean band and has toured many places around the world .

According to Ms. Hoa, the Department has checked the administrative procedures and found them complete and valid. After receiving the documents, the Department sent a document asking for the opinion of the Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee in charge of the industry. The organizing unit also sent a written commitment on fire prevention and fighting, security and order, rescue, etc.

"The Department also asked for the opinion of the Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee to direct relevant departments such as health, police, Nam Tu Liem district... to ensure the necessary conditions for the band during the 2-day performance at My Dinh Stadium. We have prepared all the content to be ready for the event," said Ms. Hoa.

Ms. Hoa added that the Department proactively signed documents to localities to ensure security and order.

According to the leader of the Department of Culture and Sports, the songs of the band BlackPink are widely popular and do not violate regulations on performing arts.

Previously, YG Entertainment, BlackPink's management company, suddenly announced that the top K-pop group will come to Hanoi to hold a concert. The Born Pink concert will take place at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi, on July 29 and 30. This is the first time BlackPink has come to Vietnam to hold a concert. This information has excited Vietnamese fans.

Before their Hanoi stop, BlackPink embarked on their Born Pink world tour, which started in Seoul, South Korea, in October 2022. Since then, the group has been selling out concerts in North America, Europe, and Asia.
