Principal dismissed, 8 officials disciplined for raising students' scores

(Dan Tri) - 9 officials, civil servants and public employees in Ha Lam ward, Ha Long city were disciplined for their involvement in the student score correction case; in which the Principal of Nguyen Van Thuoc Secondary School was dismissed.

The People's Committee of Ha Lam Ward ( Quang Ninh ) said it had disciplined 9 officials, civil servants, and public employees involved in the case of correcting student scores at Nguyen Van Thuoc Secondary School.

Previously, the ward received a complaint and recommendation about a number of violations at the school, including correcting scores that changed the results of the academic assessment at the end of the 2024-2025 school year.

After establishing an inspection team, the People's Committee of Ha Lam Ward verified and concluded that there were violations. Based on this result, the ward conducted a review and disciplinary process to ensure strictness, objectivity and transparency.

As a result, the principal of Nguyen Van Thuoc Secondary School was dismissed. In addition, 5 officials and civil servants were warned and 3 others were reprimanded.
