The 1st Congress of Delegates of the Women's Union of Nhon My Commune

On the afternoon of October 23, the Women's Union of Nhon My commune held its first Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Vice President of the Women's Union of An Giang province, Le Thi Ngoc Dung, attended the congress.

The Women's Union of Nhon My commune was established on the basis of merging 3 units of Nhon My, My Hoi Dong and Long Giang, with 31 branches and more than 13,000 members. In the 2020 - 2025 term, the union maintained and effectively implemented the "following" models of Uncle Ho, such as: Revolving capital contribution group, women's group doing charity social work, charity kitchen, Zero-dong stall model..., with 220 members, contributing a total amount of more than 1.1 billion VND to support nearly 3,800 poor and disadvantaged households.

Maintained 10 “Sustainable Family Development” Clubs with 150 members. Well coordinated with the Social Policy Bank to lend capital to members to develop their family economy with a total outstanding loan balance of 31.2 billion VND, lending to 732 women. In addition, the association mobilized more than 9,000 gifts, with a total value of more than 2.7 billion VND, providing timely support to poor women, orphans, and people with disabilities...

With the motto "Solidarity - Creativity - Dedication - Development", for the 2025 - 2030 term, the Congress of the Women's Union of Nhon My commune identified and proposed 5 key task groups and 7 main target groups. In particular, the breakthrough is determined to be comprehensive digital transformation in the organization of the union; accompanying women to improve digital capacity; promoting women to start businesses, innovate, and get rich legitimately...

The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Women's Union to appoint 15 comrades to join the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Nhon My commune. Comrade Tang Huynh Kim was appointed to hold the position of President of the Women's Union of Nhon My commune, term 2025 - 2030.
