Amid severe floods that have isolated many areas in the North, especially Thai Nguyen province, Viettel has deployed more than 300 drone flights to transport tons of necessities to isolated areas.

Viettel Post Drones were soon present in Thai Nguyen , participating in rescue and transporting necessities to people in isolated areas due to strong currents, inaccessible to rescue vehicles and boats.

1 Viettel Post drone has a payload of up to 50kg, a maximum flight range of 5km, a maximum altitude of 100m above the ground, always on standby, ensuring safety and continuity for the mission.

On average, each relief shipment, with a maximum load of 50kg, takes only 5 minutes to complete. Viettel said that on October 9, the drone promptly brought medicine and necessities to a family with a 4-month-old baby with a high fever in Thai Nguyen.

In many communes in Thai Nguyen, rising floodwaters have caused thousands of households to be deeply submerged, some up to 2m deep, and completely isolated. Access roads are cut off, making it difficult for vehicles to access, but hope has come from Viettel Post's Drone!

Not only stopping at supplying food, Viettel drones also play an important role in guiding more than 30 rescue boats, helping authorities quickly reach isolated households. Thanks to their ability to fly flexibly and access difficult areas, drones have proven to be extremely effective in harsh natural disaster conditions.

Although the roads are still flooded, with the support of Viettel Post's drone technology, each relief package is still transported safely, quickly, and promptly.

Previously in July, after storm Wipha, Viettel's drones also participated in supporting people and rescue work in Nghe An province.
