Taking care of children of union members and workers

Bring joy

Mid-Autumn Festival 2025, the Provincial Labor Federation, the Provincial Youth Union, and the Department of Health jointly organized the program "Full Moon Festival Night" in Rach Gia Ward and Long Xuyen Ward. At the program, children watched and participated in art performances, quizzes with prizes, and enjoyed a feast. The program's organizers gave gifts to 400 children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances. The Provincial Labor Federation also distributed 200 gifts to grassroots trade unions in industrial parks and grassroots trade unions of enterprises with many workers and employees to give to the children.

Ms. Doan Thi Ung - a member of the Trade Union of the Green Lotus Kindergarten, Rach Gia Ward, whose husband is a truck driver, is in difficult circumstances. Ms. Ung confided: "Participating in the "Full Moon Festival" and receiving gifts and cakes, my child is very happy and excited about the activities."

According to Mr. Do Tran Thinh - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, "Full Moon Festival" not only brings joy to children but also motivates parents to work with peace of mind, work with the Trade Union, and build a prosperous life.

Rach Gia Medical Center's grassroots union, under Rach Gia Ward's union, currently has 239 union members. On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025, Rach Gia Medical Center's grassroots union coordinated with the Center's Youth Union to organize the program "Mid-Autumn Festival Night" for 223 children who are children of union members and workers of the center; mobilized benefactors to give gifts to 6 children in difficult circumstances, each worth 300,000 VND. Along with that, the campaign mobilized benefactors to give gifts to 25 students who are children of Union members who achieved excellent academic results in the 2024-2025 school year. Doctor Tran Van Hoi - Chairman of the Union of Rach Gia Medical Center said: "Through activities to show the Union's care and concern for union members and workers. In particular, the annual Mid-Autumn Festival program is organized with many rich activities, with the desire to leave impressions and beautiful memories for the children".

Looking to the future

This year, the Trade Union of TBS An Giang Joint Stock Company, located in Phu Hoa commune, awarded "TBS Group Scholarships" to 1,488 students with excellent academic achievements in the 2024-2025 school year, with a total amount of nearly 1.5 billion VND.

Vo Anh Duong - a student of class 12D2, Nguyen Cong Tru High School shared: "I am honored and touched to receive this scholarship. For many students, including me, the path to school is full of difficulties and challenges, sometimes making me hesitate and not dare to think about the future. This scholarship is very precious to me, it gives me more motivation to try harder in the new school year, reducing the difficulties for our parents."

Mr. Vo Thanh Nha - Chairman of the Trade Union of An Giang Samho Limited Liability Company said that at the beginning of the 2025 - 2026 school year, the Company's Trade Union gave gifts to nearly 1,000 students who are children of union members and employees of the company with good and excellent academic achievements in the 2024 - 2025 school year (worth 200,000 VND/gift); gave gifts to 97 union members and employees with 2 or more children who have good and excellent academic achievements (worth 300,000 VND/gift). The Company's Board of Directors also organized the awarding of Samho scholarships to nearly 50 students who are children of union members and employees in difficult circumstances and good students, with a total amount of more than 60 million VND. On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2025, the company's Trade Union organized the "Full Moon Festival Night" program for nearly 200 children who are children of union members and employees of the company to participate, with a total cost of organizing and giving gifts of more than 80 million VND. At the program, all children received gifts, of which 60 were allocated by the Provincial Labor Federation for children in difficult circumstances who overcame difficulties to study well.

Ms. Tran Thi Kim Lai has been working with An Giang Samho Limited Liability Company for 10 years and shared: “The company’s grassroots union has many activities to take care of the lives of union members and their families, children, and employees. Thereby, it motivates union members and employees to work with peace of mind and stay with the company.”

Through activities to care for children of union members and workers, unions at all levels hope to motivate parents to work with peace of mind, build a prosperous life, and provide their children with a good future.
