Congress of the Women's Union of the Border Guard Command of An Giang province for the 2025 - 2030 term

On October 10, the Women's Union of the Border Guard Command of An Giang province held the Congress of delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Vice President of An Giang Provincial Women's Union Nguyen Thi Quyen presented flowers to congratulate the congress.

Rewarding groups and individuals with outstanding achievements.

During the past term, the Women's Union of the Border Guard Command of An Giang province has effectively implemented the Women's work plan associated with the emulation movements "Intelligent and brave Army Women, completing tasks well, building happy families, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new period".

Implementing the program "Accompanying Women in Border Areas" and "Border Spring Warms the Hearts of the Villagers", the Association has given 300 gifts to poor women in the border areas, 280 scholarships, 600 gifts, free medical examinations and medicine, with a total value of more than 390 million VND.

The Association has coordinated the implementation of the programs "Green March", "Action Month for Children", "Action Month for the Environment", the model "Exchanging plastic waste for necessities", giving gifts to women's families and students in difficult circumstances, worth 240 million VND...

With outstanding results, the Association was awarded many certificates of merit by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Border Guard Command, the Provincial Women's Union, and the Provincial Border Guard Command.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Women's Union of the Provincial Border Guard Command identified 6 main targets, focusing on implementing 3 key tasks.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Border Guard Command Party Committee to appoint the Executive Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Women's Union of the Provincial Border Guard Command for the 2025-2030 term.

On this occasion, the Association and 6 individuals were commended by the Provincial Border Guard Command for their outstanding achievements in performing the Association's tasks and the women's emulation movement for the 2021-2026 term.
