In the deep blue sky of September 2, each squadron of fighter jets, transport helicopters and armed helicopters, including: Mi-171, Mi-17, Mi-8 helicopters; Casa C-295 and C212i; Yak-130 and L-39NG and Su-30MK2 performed impressive flight demonstrations, creating a scene that was both majestic and emotional.
Leading the way was a squadron of Mi-171, Mi-17, and Mi-8 helicopters, carrying the national flag and the Party flag flying over the historic Ba Dinh Square, symbolizing the strength of great solidarity and the pride of the Party and nation, demonstrating the mettle, intelligence, and aspiration to build the country to take off and soar in the new era.
Next is the formation of Casa C-295 and C212i transport aircraft - the "silent warriors", undertaking combat coordination, reconnaissance, transportation, and search and rescue. Each flight is a combination of steel spirit and modern technology, affirming the bravery, intelligence, and fighting strength of the heroic Vietnam People's Air Force.
The Yak-130 and L-39NG are modern multi-purpose training aircraft that operate in all weather conditions, day and night, performing training, reconnaissance and attack missions to destroy targets in the air, on land and at sea. The presence of the Yak-130 and L-39NG affirms the level of combat capability and the strength to protect national sovereignty .
Meanwhile, the Su-30MK2 formation is the pride and main strength of the Vietnam People's Air Force. This is a modern supersonic multi-role fighter, operating in all weather conditions, tightly controlling airspace, effectively attacking targets in the air, on land, and at sea, and is a "steel shield" firmly protecting the airspace, sea, borders, and islands of the Fatherland.
With the motto "using few to fight many, using high quality to defeat large numbers", with extraordinary courage, intelligence and creativity, the air force "once they took off, they brought back victory", defeated the enemy, fully implementing Uncle Ho's teaching "opening a victorious air front".
Amidst the cheers and applause from the stands and streets, the people of the capital as well as millions of viewers watching on screen clearly felt the spirit of "Brave steel, steadfast wings" of the sky soldiers.
The performance not only showcased military power, but also conveyed a message of will and determination to preserve peace , independence and national sovereignty. Each flight path and formation exuded national pride, the result of the persistent and serious training of the Vietnam People's Air Force over the past several months.
Today's performance is not only an affirmation of strength, but also a tribute to previous generations and a promise of determination from today's generation: Always ready to fight, firmly protecting the Fatherland's sky in all situations.
