Olympia 2025 Finals bring together representatives of 4 post-merger economic regions

(Dan Tri) - The final round of Road to Olympia 2025 includes 4 contestants, representing the regions: Red River Delta, Mekong River Delta, North Central Coast, South Central Coast and Central Highlands.

The final round of the 25th Road to Olympia program will take place on the morning of October 26.

The four contestants competing with each other are: Le Quang Duy Khoa - Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted (Hue), Nguyen Nhat Lam - Cai Be High School (Dong Thap), Doan Thanh Tung - Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (Khanh Hoa) and Tran Bui Bao Khanh - Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted (Hanoi).

Coincidentally, the 4 candidates represent 4 economic regions: Red River Delta, Mekong River Delta, North Central Coast, South Central Coast and Central Highlands.

Le Quang Duy Khoa is an English major student, possessing comprehensive knowledge of both natural and social sciences. He is the third consecutive Quoc Hoc Hue student to be present in the final round of the competition.

Doan Thanh Tung is a student majoring in Biology, with strengths in social studies, history and English. Le Quy Don School, where Tung studied, once had Olympia runner-up Nguyen Hai Dang.

Tran Bui Bao Khanh is also a Biology student and the 6th contestant from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted to reach the finals this year. Khanh is expected to bring home the laurel wreath for Vietnam's top gifted school after Phan Minh Duc's victory in 2010.

Nguyen Nhat Lam is the only contestant who does not study at a specialized school. He is also the first person to bring Olympia television to Dong Thap province.

Based on the results of the 4 contestants in the quarter finals, Bao Khanh leads with 295 points, followed by Nhut Lam with 290 points, Thanh Tung with 255 points and Duy Khoa with 160 points.

Traditionally, the winner of the Road to Olympia is awarded $50,000. In addition, some universities offer direct admission or bonus points to the finalists of the year.
