Inspirational art program Viet Nam Stronger: Urgent atmosphere on the practice floor

Since the evening of October 12, artists and dancers have been practicing for the first season of the inspirational art program Viet Nam Stronger with the theme "Phu Dong Dream" organized by Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper and Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association tomorrow.

Artists: Nguyen Phi Hung, Bella Vu, Sisi children's group, dance groups... are the first to participate in running the program.

According to program director Le Viet, all preparations are almost complete. Artists and dance groups will practice together on stage to coordinate with sound, lighting and stage effects.

"I believe that with nearly a month of preparation, I will bring the audience a music night full of positive energy," director Le Viet shared.

Sharing his feelings after the rehearsal, singer Nguyen Phi Hung said he felt extremely excited and lucky to be able to participate in a meaningful program like Viet Nam Stronger.

Singer Nguyen Phi Hung revealed that on stage on the evening of October 13, he will bring two performances, including a song he composed himself with a message of positive energy to the audience.

The artists participating in the program will continue to rehearse on the morning of October 13, after which the Organizing Committee will re-check the entire stage and stands before the program takes place, starting at 7 p.m. with many exciting activities.

In particular, the reception area will feature a traditional band with traditional musical instruments made from bamboo such as bamboo flutes, T'rung zithers... along with an exhibition area displaying images of completed charity projects of the two organizing units, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper and Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association.

The program will officially start at 8:00 p.m. on October 13 at Hoa Binh Theater (District 10, HCMC).

The first season of the inspirational art program Viet Nam Stronger with the theme "Phu Dong Dream" includes 3 acts.

Chapter 1 - Bamboo grows from the ground is a story about a strong and resilient Vietnam from the past of building and defending the country; firmly facing the events and natural disasters in peacetime. It is the solidarity, mutual support, and consensus of each individual and collective that together make Vietnam stronger and stronger like bamboo shoots growing from the ground to welcome the sun and wind of freedom and peace.

That message was conveyed through a series of performances: Colors of the homeland , Vietnam in me, Peaceful day , Hello Vietnam, A circle of Vietnam, Lullaby of light ... performed by singers: Myra Tran, Nguyen Phi Hung, Bella Vu, Ngoc Mai...

In particular, musician Truong Quang Luc also dedicated the program to the songs "Lighting up the faith" and "Overcoming difficulties to school" performed by a children's choir.

Act 2 - Bamboo Love highlights the spirit of "the whole leaves cover the torn leaves" because even in times of difficulty, hardship or misfortune, loss, the belief in sharing and helping always shines. The performances: Living, The teacher carries the clouds (Vo Viet Phuong), The person who sows green seeds and If one day I fly to the sky (Hua Kim Tuyen)... are praises for individuals and groups who always live, think, devote themselves, and sacrifice themselves for the community, without seeking anything for themselves.

Above all, that mutual support also shows the spirit of mutual love, adding strength and optimism to life so that no one feels left behind.

Chapter 3 - The bamboo trees' shade brings about visually impressive performances: Silk circus by two artists who just won the Gold Medal at the 2023 International Circus Festival, Hien Phuoc - Thanh Hoa.

There, the audience also enjoyed a performance that was both traditional and modern from singer Phuong My Chi through the songs Vu tru co anh , Nhung sao xa xa . Or songs whose lyrics were inspirational , Live like flowers and Buoc di khong thang (singer Vo Ha Tram).

All carry a message of national pride and encourage each of us to take action, because a thousand good words are not worth one practical action for the community.

The first season of Viet Nam Stronger with the theme "Phu Dong Dream" aims to mobilize socialization and use resources to support the program " Lighting up the faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school" of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper and the YBA Project - House of knowledge (Container library) of the Golden Heart Fund (Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association).
