The image of Uncle Ho is depicted with graphic language with strong contrasting light and dark colors, taking us back in time, back to the days of resistance - nation building, the first years after our country gained independence with countless difficulties.
With the spirit of solidarity and ardent patriotism, the entire Vietnamese people were determined to join the provisional government in protecting the achievements of the revolution, ready to donate and support assets and human resources, and join the provisional government in destroying "famine, illiteracy and foreign invaders". On January 6, 1946, the people of the whole country went to the polls to exercise their rights and obligations as citizens, affirming independence and autonomy.
The logo has red as the main color, the color of the national flag, with the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary enthusiasm, solidarity, heroic fighting spirit of the nation, the will of the aspiration for independence and freedom and steadfast belief in the Party. On the red block background is a yellow star, symbolizing the Vietnamese national flag, a bright torch illuminating the path for the entire nation to move forward to build socialism.
The logo background is the number 80 in motion, representing the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnamese National Assembly, the highest representative body of the people, the highest state power body of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, exercising supreme supervision over the activities of the State.
For 80 years accompanying the country's development, the Vietnamese National Assembly has exercised its constitutional and legislative powers, deciding on important national issues. To further emphasize the role of the Vietnamese National Assembly, the logo features an image of the National Assembly building behind the image of Uncle Ho, creating balance, solidity and depth for the entire logo.
The ballot box is simplified into a white block to highlight the Vietnamese national emblem, harmoniously linked to the overall logo, and is a place to convey the people's beliefs and aspirations for peace, independence, freedom, and happiness through the election ballot.
The line "Commemorating the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026)" is an important milestone highlighting the significance of the first general election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam, an important historical event of the country, a brilliant milestone marking the beginning of the National Assembly of Vietnam, demonstrating the strength of great national unity under the leadership of the Party to overcome all difficulties and challenges, successfully carrying out the first general election to elect the National Assembly, and at the same time demonstrating the sustainable development of the National Assembly of Vietnam over the past 80 years.
