On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 18, in Hanoi , Vietnam Women's Publishing House, Vietnam Women's Newspaper, Vietnam Women's Museum, and Center for Women's Development Support organized the program "Memories that have never ended" to exchange and introduce the book "Dang Thuy Tram and the third diary".

Director - Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Women's Publishing House Khuc Thi Hoa Phuong said that in 2005, two war diaries of female doctor and martyr Dang Thuy Tram, after 35 years of hiding in the US, were returned to her family by American veterans and thanks to that, the book "Dang Thuy Tram's Diary" was published and widely known. To date, more than half a million copies of the book have been published in Vietnam, the book has also been translated into 23 languages around the world , causing intense emotions and inspiring many people about a Vietnamese soul in the resistance war against the US. Many events and activities have been organized to honor the image of female doctor, martyr, Hero of the Armed Forces Dang Thuy Tram. The "fire" of Dang Thuy Tram, the vitality of that war diary has always been steadfast for the past 20 years.

In 2025, the third diary was compiled into a book by author Dang Kim Tram - the younger sister of female doctor and martyr Dang Thuy Tram - the person in charge of the female doctor's posthumous works, along with many other related documents. The book, published by Women's Publishing House, takes readers back to the complete story of a special person - an ordinary soldier in the war, helping us to know more about the portrait of Dang Thuy Tram with the youth, knowledge and culture of a Hanoi girl.
Regarding her sister's third diary, author Dang Kim Tram said that this is the third diary of martyr Dang Thuy Tram to reach readers, but in fact it is the diary that came before the other two, written by the female doctor in her final years before volunteering to go to the battlefield, and given to her mother to keep.

According to Ms. Dang Kim Tram, this book hopes to give a more complete picture of the childhood, family, thoughts and concerns of Dr. Dang Thuy Tram, whose family calls her Thuy, when she was a student; her dreams of having a scientific career, a literary career, of being happy, of living in peace ...
“Dang Thuy Tram and the Third Diary” is 384 pages long, consisting of 2 parts: “The Ideal Class” and “The Bridge Over the River of Division”. In addition to the diary of Dr. Dang Thuy Tram, there are also some letters with family and friends; memoirs of Mrs. Doan Ngoc Tram - mother of Dr. Dang Thuy Tram; articles by author Dang Kim Tram and the female doctor’s siblings.
The childhood, adolescence and a part of the beautiful youth of Dang Thuy Tram are recounted, along with memories with family, friends, in the heart of the peaceful capital Hanoi, with a heart turned towards the South. The pages depict a Dang Thuy Tram full of femininity, with youthful energy, with a heart filled with love for the country, family, relatives and friends.
