Provincial National Assembly delegates will organize supervision of issues of concern to voters.

(QNO) - In the recently issued 2024 monitoring and survey program, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation selected many contents related to local socio -economic development; handling voters' petitions and citizens' petitions.

Regarding regular supervision, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation monitored the implementation of socio-economic, defense-security, and state budget tasks in 2024. Accordingly, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation organized a working session with the Provincial People's Committee and a number of relevant agencies and units in the province.

At the same time, monitor a number of localities and units to collect information and grasp the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, national defense and security, and state budget in 2024; consider resolving voters' opinions and recommendations under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee and provincial agencies and localities.

Conducting supervision at the 7th and 8th Sessions (15th National Assembly ), in addition to reviewing reports submitted by the Government, the National Assembly Standing Committee, and relevant agencies; questioning and answering questions, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation participated in reviewing two thematic supervision reports "Implementation of Resolution No. 43 dated January 11, 2022 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-economic Recovery and Development Program and resolutions of the National Assembly on a number of important national projects until the end of 2023" and "Implementation of policies and laws on real estate market management and social housing development from 2015 to the end of 2023".

According to the 2024 program, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will conduct 5 thematic supervisions; in which the supervision content will be selected as "Implementation of Resolution No. 43 dated January 11, 2022 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-economic Recovery and Development Program in Quang Nam province". The expected implementation time is before January 25, 2024.

Notably, it is expected that before March 1, 2024, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will supervise the topic "Implementation of policies and laws on innovation of the organizational and management system, improving the quality and efficiency of operations of public service units in the period of 2018 - 2023 in Quang Nam province".

In addition, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies organized thematic supervision of a number of outstanding cases and difficulties in resolving voters' opinions and recommendations; resolving citizens' petitions and letters in the province. Conducted thematic surveys on the situation of resolving citizens' petitions, complaints and denunciations (in April and August 2024).
