The largest green metropolis in Nghe An organizes the Eco Central Park Marathon for the first time

(Dan Tri) - The first season of Eco Central Park Marathon (ECM) was organized by the founder of Ecopark and a group of residents who love running, including 4 distances: 3km, 5km, 10km, 21km; expected to take place on March 15, 2026.

This is the largest running race at Eco Central Park, bringing the experience of exercise, relaxation, and connection with yourself and nature in the middle of the largest green metropolis in the Central region.

“Ecopark Marathon has gone through 6 seasons in the green city of Ecopark. Together with the running community, we want to expand the race to all regions, spreading positive energy and a green, healthy and happy lifestyle.

That is also the reason why the founder of Ecopark and the community of runners and sustainable lifestyle lovers organized the first running season in the metropolis Eco Central Park, called Eco Central Park Marathon", said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Quang - Deputy Sales Director of Ecopark.

Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - representative of the organizing committee - said that the first Eco Central Park Marathon season was held on the route in Eco Central Park urban area, which was designed softly, covered with green leaves and the brilliant colors of hundreds of flowers.

Eco Central Park Marathon will have 4 distances inspired by the 4 seasons of the year. Each runner can choose their own favorite shade.

“Spring (3km running distance) brings the bustling laughter of the beginning of spring, like children. Summer (5km) brings the energetic youth and breakthrough.

Autumn (10km) brings a gentler, more romantic experience. Winter (21km) will be a shade of perseverance and strength like a warrior who has experienced, conquering life's challenges," said Mr. Anh Tuan.

Connect with yourself and nature in Nghe An's largest green city

Eco Central Park is the largest green metropolis in the Central region, nearly 200 hectares wide (Truong Vinh ward, Nghe An province), started construction by the founder of Ecopark in 2023.

After nearly 3 years of construction, the entire project from the low-lying area has been cleaned of salt, the land has been improved to plant 10,000 shade trees, covering 180,000 m² with more than 100 species of plants.

Within the project area, 21 hectares of water surface are planned and designed to circulate, creating microclimate, cooling, controlling Lao wind, and providing humidity to help keep the temperature 5°C lower than the surrounding area.

The 1.5 km long, 12.3 ha wide landscape axis and the 4 ha central lake create a continuous green axis that will become a new entertainment and recreation spot for residents and visitors. The 35,000 m² Light Square has taken shape, ready to become the artistic and entertainment heart of Nghe An people.

Campus Park 15,000m² - the first theme park in Nghe An - is becoming a playground, learning and exploring for young residents and tourists. Currently, every week, Eco Central Park welcomes groups of students from the province to play, learn and explore the natural world .

In addition, 20 sports fields and a 11,200m² sports and commercial complex have been completed to meet the needs of residents. Focusing on the educational foundation of current and future residents, the investor Eco Central Park and its partner FPT started construction of FPT Vinh Inter-level School on September 19, expected to enroll students from the 2026-2027 school year.

According to Mr. Quang, infrastructure, transportation, and facilities are important, but building a green, healthy, and happy lifestyle for the community is equally important.

If at Ecopark Hung Yen, the investor Ecopark has its own running race, fishing, dancing, chess, yoga clubs, and a weekend market with its own mark, helping to improve the spiritual life of residents, then at Eco Central Park from 2026 there will also be its own running race, becoming a bridge connecting residents from the three regions of the founder of Ecopark.
