Haaland: 'I've never felt better than this'

Erling Haaland has made a phenomenal start to the season, scoring 18 goals in 11 games for Manchester City and Norway, and says he has "never felt better".

In the match last night 5-10, Haaland scored the only goal to help Man City beat Brentford 1-0 in round 7 of the Premier League. This was his 16th goal in 9 consecutive matches for Man City and the Norwegian national team. It was also his 18th goal in 11 matches played this season.

Revealing to the press about his excellent form, Haaland said: "I have never felt better than now. The secret is preparation, being ready for matches. You can be physically ready but you need to be mentally ready."

Haaland scored 36 Premier League goals in his first season for Man City and 27 in his second and 22 in his third.

This steady decline in form has left many concerned about the 25-year-old Norwegian's ability to score goals. But now, with a dream start, people hope Haaland will break all scoring records this season.

Haaland is noticeably younger looking now, and he says it's largely because he became a father for the first time a year ago.

"Having a child makes me happier because I don't have to worry about as much anymore. When you're young, you often think about this and that and can worry about many things, but now when I come home I feel more relaxed. I think I have to praise my son," he said.
