Master Pham Thai Son, Director of the Admissions and Communications Center, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, said that maintaining multiple admission methods is a trend that is suitable for the current university admission context, expanding opportunities for candidates, helping them have more "doors" to enter university.

At the same time, reduce pressure by not having to rely entirely on a single exam.

In addition, flexible admission methods also help schools adapt quickly to changes in high school graduation exams and competency assessment exams in the coming years.

According to the innovation roadmap, from 2028, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade will stop considering admission based on high school transcripts, replacing them with a comprehensive capacity assessment method, combining many factors such as high school transcripts, high school graduation exam scores and the results of the capacity assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University, to comprehensively assess learning capacity.

In particular, in the university's 2026 enrollment plan, the school will exempt 100% of tuition fees for the entire course and provide living expenses of 3 million VND/month for candidates admitted by direct admission.

In 2025, the admission score based on high school transcripts to Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade ranges from 20.33 to 26.5 points depending on the major.

Some majors have a benchmark score above 25 such as English Language, Chinese Language, Marketing, International Business, E-commerce, Banking and Finance, Law, Economic Law, Logistics and Supply Chain Management...

Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade is the latest face to join the list of universities with revenue of 1,000 billion VND or more in Vietnam.

In 2024, the school's total revenue will reach more than 1,008 billion VND. It is expected that in 2025, the school's total revenue will increase to 1,136.6 billion VND. Of which, 80% of revenue comes from tuition fees, the remaining 20% from scientific research, technology transfer and other service revenues.
