Dak Lak organizes Digital Transformation Festival with the theme: "Digital technology

Determined to make Dak Lak one of the leading localities in digital transformation in the Central Highlands - South Central Coast region, contributing to realizing the aspiration of making the province develop rapidly, sustainably, civilized, and with identity, Dak Lak province has implemented many programs, projects, and policy mechanisms to promote the application of information technology, science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and achieved many impressive results.

The province has made its mark with important steps forward: The two-level government has initially operated stably, gradually applying artificial intelligence and virtual assistants in handling work and resolving administrative procedures.

At 16 provincial agencies, the rate of handling administrative procedures before and on time reached over 96%; at 102 communes and wards, the rate of handling administrative procedures before and on time reached over 98%. The index of serving people and businesses in performing administrative procedures and providing public services from July 1, 2025 to present reached 85.6 points, ranking 9th out of 34 provinces and cities; 100% of villages and hamlets have fiber optic cables, basically covering the whole province with 4G.

The movement of “Digital Literacy for All” has been widely spread among the people, bringing digital skills to every village, hamlet, and neighborhood. The Dak Lak Province Digital Transformation Infrastructure Project is being accelerated, determined to be completed in 2025, laying the foundation for a synchronous and secure data infrastructure.

Localities signed a commitment to compete in "Improving the effectiveness of digital transformation at the commune level".

Up to now, the province has completed 17/25 tasks in Plan No. 02-KH/BCĐTW of the Central Steering Committee, and is continuing to deploy and implement 8 tasks; all communes and wards in the province have achieved green status, completing 16/16 criteria and tasks at the commune level in phase 1.

The above results are a solid foundation for the whole province to enter phase 2 - completing 94 criteria set forth by the Central Steering Committee with the spirit of "Proactive and effective - Accelerating breakthroughs - Connecting and interconnecting - Timely synchronization - People enjoying - Safe information".

At the program, Dak Lak province launched a peak period of "Improving the effectiveness of digital transformation at the commune level", aiming to complete 94 criteria of phase 2 of Plan 02-KH/BCĐTW; at the same time, speeding up the Digital Transformation Infrastructure Project, ensuring information security and synchronous connection from the province to the grassroots.

Speaking at the launch of the peak period, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Thi Nguyen Thao requested all levels and sectors of the province, especially 102 communes and wards, to focus on key tasks: Accelerating the completion of digital infrastructure and digital data, putting the Digital Transformation Infrastructure Project into operation in 2025, ensuring synchronous connection from the province to the grassroots.

Continue to widely and effectively deploy the Digital Literacy Movement for the People, improve digital capacity and digital skills for cadres, civil servants, public employees and people, strive to have 100% of communes and wards have effective digital community models by the end of 2025, in which youth union members are the core force.

Strengthening network safety and security, building a transparent, safe and reliable digital environment; promoting the role of telecommunications enterprises and community digital technology groups. In particular, it is necessary to mobilize all resources to complete the 94 criteria of phase 2, assign specific responsibilities to each collective and individual, promote the pioneering and exemplary role, and the decisive participation of leaders at all levels...

At the Festival, delegates and telecommunications and information technology businesses exchanged and shared technology application solutions, bringing practical benefits to serve the two-level government, people and businesses.
