Westlife concert in Vietnam "sold out", organizers announced to add more shows

On the evening of October 20, Ms. Do Thu Giang - representative of the organizer of the Westlife concert in Vietnam - said that after all tickets for the concert on the evening of November 22 were sold out in just 4 hours, the Organizing Committee received many responses from the audience, saying that they had not been able to buy tickets even though they were looking forward to it.

Immediately, the Organizing Committee discussed with Westlife representatives to add an additional show on November 21, instead of just one show on November 22 in Vietnam.

"We started to discuss and negotiate with the band and indeed, our perseverance has brought results. The show on November 21 will be a gift for those who love music .

Hopefully Vietnamese audiences will enjoy two music nights that are worth the wait," Ms. Giang shared.

The Organizing Committee representative also said that ticket prices and seating positions for the November 21 show will remain unchanged compared to the November 22 show.

The news that the famous band will perform two nights in Vietnam has made the audience extremely excited. On the groups, many audiences expressed their happiness, because they thought they would no longer have the opportunity to participate in the band's performance when they could not get tickets for the show on November 22.

Previously, the news that the Irish boy band would return to Vietnam in November received a warm response from Vietnamese audiences. After only 2 hours of posting, the post received nearly 25,000 interactions and more than 8,000 comments.

On September 21, the Organizing Committee announced that it would issue 15,000 tickets to the Westlife concert. Each account can buy up to 6 tickets at a time in all categories, and transactions can be completed within 10 minutes. In the diagram, the Organizing Committee divided Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC) into 8 areas, 100% of which are seats.

At exactly 9am on September 26, the ticket sales portal for Westlife's concert officially opened. Accordingly, there are 6 ticket categories for sale including: 850,000 VND, 1.2 million VND, 1.7 million VND, 2.1 million VND, 3.1 million VND and 4 million VND.

According to data on the Ticketbox website, after only 2 hours of opening for sale, all ticket categories from 850,000 VND to 4 million VND were sold out, only the 3.1 million VND category remained but then quickly "sold out".

Westlife was formed in 1998, consisting of 5 members: Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne and Brian McFadden.

In October 2018, Westlife reunited with 4 members after 6 years of disbandment, Brian did not participate.
