On October 5, designer Ngoc Lan introduced the Old Silk collection with designs of ao dai and silk velvet outfits for Fall Winter 2025. In addition to female models, the show also attracted the attention of the audience with the appearance of actor Son Tung.
Born in 2006, Son Tung is a "new breeze" in VTV dramas, gaining attention through his role as Vien in the primetime drama 1 millimeter away from you . With his handsome appearance and natural, genuine acting, Son Tung is praised by many audiences as the "youthful male god".
Designer Ngoc Lan said that Son Tung and his mother have both loved the designer's ao dai and hand-embroidered scarves for many years. Ngoc Lan herself really likes the fresh role of the 19-year-old actor, so she decided to invite him to be the model for the latest collection.

For the first time appearing on a big stage as a model wearing ao dai, Son Tung was a bit nervous and worried. He spent time practicing how to walk, interact, and hold hands with his co-stars naturally... Thanks to that, Son Tung's performance impressed the audience.
"As a young person, I have always loved traditional culture. Being able to perform in a special show helps me spread the beauty of ao dai to the younger generation. I want to focus on the film industry, in addition to developing my image as a multi-talented artist," Son Tung said.
More than 40 designs in the collection are a connection between traditional spirit and contemporary breath, prepared and completed by designer Ngoc Lan and her team for more than 2 months.
The designs have the softness and elegance of silk velvet and creative cuts with an office feel, especially the blazers made from Vietnamese silk with innovative shapes combined with meticulous hand-embroidered motifs.
In addition, the collection also impresses with a series of dresses made from luxurious velvet, hand-embroidered ao dai with silk thread, hand-quilted shirts...
Each costume is a hand-embroidered work with vivid and colorful images of flowers, animals, spring... The artisans also spent hundreds of hours working, expressing their love for their homeland's culture on the designs.

Designer Ngoc Lan graduated from Foreign Trade University and London College for Design and Fashion. She has 20 years of experience in the fashion industry. Her outfits are favored by many artists thanks to their minimalist shapes, high sophistication, and focus on unique handcrafted details.
