Condolences and telegrams for the damage caused by storm No. 10

Faced with the severe damage caused by storm No. 10 (Bualoi) in many northern and central provinces of Vietnam, political leaders and countries have sent messages of condolences to the leaders of the Party, State and people of Vietnam, expressing their belief that Vietnam will soon overcome the consequences of natural disasters and stabilize people's lives.

Upon hearing that Typhoon Bualoi caused heavy damage to people, property and crops in the northern and central provinces of Vietnam, Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone sent a message of condolences to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh .

The content of the telegram is as follows:

“We have been closely monitoring storm No. 10 (Bualoi) that recently made landfall in many localities, regions and provinces of Vietnam, causing enormous damage to the lives and properties of the Vietnamese people.

On behalf of the Lao Party, Government and people, I would like to send my sincere regards and deep condolences with comradely sentiments to you and through you to the Party, Government and people of Vietnam, especially the families of the victims affected by this natural disaster.

In any circumstances, the Lao People's Democratic Republic will always stand by the Party, Government and people of our brotherly Vietnam. I firmly believe that, under the leadership of the Party and the close attention of the Government of Vietnam, relevant ministries and branches from the central to local levels, the people of our brotherly Vietnam will overcome all difficulties, and the lives of the people and areas affected by this natural disaster will soon stabilize.

First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, sent a message of condolences to the Vietnamese people.

President of the Republic of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega Saavedra and co-President Rosario Murillo sent letters of condolences to General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong.

Dominican Left Movement (MIU) Party General Secretary Miguel Mejia sent a letter of condolences to the Communist Party of Vietnam and Party General Secretary To Lam.

* On the same day, Lao Foreign Minister Thongsavanh Phomvihane sent a message of condolences to Acting Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung.
