At the ceremony, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's Decision on the transfer, assignment and appointment of comrade Le Ngoc Quang, Party Central Committee member, Secretary of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, replacing comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, who was recently appointed as Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung emphasized that comrade Le Ngoc Quang is a well-trained cadre who has worked in many different positions in central and local agencies. The Politburo assessed that he is a capable cadre in Party building work, determined, close to the grassroots, capable of gathering and uniting in the agencies and units where he works. In the assigned positions, he always completed his tasks well, making important contributions to the development of agencies and localities. During his time as Secretary of the old Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the new Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, he demonstrated enthusiasm and determination to develop the locality, gaining the trust of the collective and the locality.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung requested the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee, and all levels and sectors in the city's Party Committee to promote the spirit of solidarity, support and companionship so that comrade Le Ngoc Quang can complete the tasks entrusted and entrusted by the Politburo, with the goal of being determined to strongly develop Da Nang city in the coming time.

Comrade Le Ngoc Quang, in his capacity as Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, will promote the achievements of the heroic Quang Nam land that his predecessors have achieved, with the highest goal of building a civilized, modern city with a high quality of life and becoming a growth pole of Vietnam. The immediate task is to closely follow the direction of the Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the General Secretary, especially the Resolution of the recent City Party Congress to be determined and make efforts to successfully implement the set goals. The city needs to thoroughly grasp and immediately implement the Action Program to put the resolution into life; focus on leading the organization and effective operation of the two-level local government apparatus; together with the Party Committees directly under the Central Committee, prepare well for the 14th National Congress of the Party, carefully prepare for the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term...

New Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang pledged that in his new position, he will quickly research and learn from practice, continuously study, practice, strive, always uphold the spirit of responsibility, dedication and devotion to the common work, for the development of the city and the happy life of the people of Da Nang.

Comrade Le Ngoc Quang affirmed: Da Nang is a major center of economy, culture, science and technology, education, national defense and security of the Central region and the whole country, a gateway for international trade and a place where the country's strong aspirations for development converge. The recent first City Party Congress opened a new development phase with the goal of building Da Nang into a modern, ecological, smart, livable city, a center of innovation, high-tech industry, tourism and high-quality services, aiming for international stature.

On that basis, the City Party Secretary together with the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee will focus on leading, directing and implementing well the Resolution of the first City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, in conjunction with concretizing and promoting the effectiveness of the resolutions, mechanisms and special policies that the Central Government has given to Da Nang. At the same time, inheriting and promoting the glorious tradition, valuable achievements and experiences of previous leaders, continuing to build a truly clean, strong, united and unified Party organization, innovating leadership methods, improving governance capacity and operational efficiency, promoting democracy, arousing the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility to realize the city's development aspirations.

Comrade Le Ngoc Quang was born on January 21, 1974, in Thanh Hoa province; qualifications: Senior in Political Theory, Bachelor of Journalism. During his work, Comrade Le Ngoc Quang held the position of General Director of Vietnam Television. The Politburo issued Decision No. 1626-QD/TW dated October 25, 2024 on transferring, assigning, and appointing Comrade Le Ngoc Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of Vietnam Television, to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025. On June 23, 2025, the Politburo issued a decision appointing Comrade Le Ngoc Quang, member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee (old) as Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee (new), after the merger of Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces. On October 5, 2025, the Politburo appointed comrade Le Ngoc Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, to continue holding the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
