On October 17, the Hue City Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on the transfer, assignment, and appointment of comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung, former Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Member of the Politburo , Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's decision appointing comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung to hold the position of Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee.

Handing over the decision and assigning tasks to the new Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung emphasized that comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung is a well-trained cadre with experience in Party building and state management; working resolutely, closely following the grassroots, and capable of gathering solidarity. In all positions, he always completed assigned tasks. The Politburo requested comrades in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, leaders at all levels and branches in the entire Hue City Party Committee to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, unity, support, companionship, and support to help comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung complete the tasks entrusted to him by the Politburo, with the top priority task being to continue to develop Hue City even more strongly in the coming time.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee suggested that Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung, in his position as the new Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, should closely follow the direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat, focus on leading and directing the important tasks that the Politburo recently directed at the City Party Congress, as well as the recent policies of the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat; in which it is necessary to promptly grasp and immediately implement the Action Program of the City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, promulgate working regulations, assign tasks and arrange cadres after the Congress to ensure compliance with principles, policies, orientations and objectivity, create consensus and promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation and creativity.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung was born in 1973; hometown in Nghe An province; political theory degree at Senior level; professional qualifications: Master of Public Administration, Bachelor of Judicial Law.

In the former Dak Nong province, he held the following positions: Deputy Director of the Department of Justice, Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office; Permanent Deputy Chairman, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Since January 2021, he has been a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Nong province for the 2016-2021 term.

In April 2021, the Politburo assigned him to join the Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

From July 1, 2025, he was transferred to hold the new position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee. On September 30, 2025, at the first Congress of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung was appointed by the Politburo to continue holding the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee.
