Representing Vietjet, Ms. Ho Ngoc Yen Phuong – Deputy General Director of Finance, Member of the Board of Directors, shared about the journey of creating equal opportunities for women not only in the cockpit, but also in the fields of engineering, operations and finance.

“We don’t just talk about gender equality – we act on it. Vietjet believes that empowering women is the foundation of sustainable development,” she stressed.

Founded by Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Southeast Asia’s first self-made female billionaire, Vietjet is a symbol of the pioneering role of women in the aviation industry. According to the ESG 2024 Report, women account for nearly 40% of the workforce, of which 30% hold leadership positions – the highest ratio in the region.
