On the occasion of the Kate Festival 2023 of the Cham people following Brahmanism, on October 14, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the Kate Festival at Po Rome Tower, Hau Sanh Village, Phuoc Huu Commune (Ninh Phuoc). Accompanying were leaders of the Department of Home Affairs, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial Ethnic Committee.

Attending the festival at Po Rome Tower, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, sent to the dignitaries, officials and all Cham people in general and the Cham Brahman community in particular a warm, joyful and happy Kate Festival. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that in recent times, the Party and the State have had many policies and guidelines to develop and improve all aspects of the material and spiritual life of the Cham people; preserve and promote the good traditional values of the Cham people; many traditional festivals of the Cham people have been maintained and developed; tangible and intangible heritages have been preserved and promoted. Many temple and tower relics are precious and priceless assets of the Cham people, which have been honored, restored, embellished, preserved and promoted by the State. Notably, recently, "The art of making pottery of the Cham people has been listed by UNESCO in the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Protection".
