The project to build a new Vietnam Military History Museum is being implemented in Tay Mo and Dai Mo wards (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi ), located next to Thang Long Avenue, opposite the new urban area Vinhomes Smart City. The project is built on a land area of 74.3 hectares, of which the usable area is about 38.66 hectares, designed in a modern style with 4 above-ground floors and one underground floor.

The building is designed in a modern, simple style and creates an intuitive historical flow, in harmony with architectural lighting and natural light. The project uses a multimedia system, combined with a directional sound system so that visitors can freely interact, bringing a new experience.

This is a special project, invested by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, with a total investment of 2,500 billion VND.

At the end of August, through a field inspection of the construction items of the Vietnam Military History Museum (phase 1) and working with the relevant agencies, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, requested the agencies to remove obstacles, concentrate all resources, and speed up the construction progress of the project.

According to the reporter's records, up to now, the rough part of the main building has taken shape, and some items are being urgently carried out by workers to ensure construction progress.

The project, once completed, will display 8 topics, 7 collections and 12 military specialties of the Vietnam People's Army. Outside the building, there will be military restoration works, large weapons displays... In phase 1, the museum will display 6 topics on historical processes, introducing Vietnam's military history from the Hung Kings to the Ho Chi Minh era.
